STEMSATORG.US is dedicated to STEAM Education and experiential learning for K-12 and college-level students. Our 3-Unit, Radio-Astronomy CubeSat [STEMSAT 1] will 'listen' for Very Low Frequency signals from space that are normally blocked from terrestrial reception by Earth's Ionosphere. These data will digitized and transmitted to the g

Our 3-Unit, Radio-Astronomy CubeSat [STEMSAT 1] will 'listen' for Very Low Frequency signals from space that are normally blocked from terrestrial reception by Earth's Ionosphere. These data will digitized and transmitted to the ground on a UHF frequency that is not blocked. That data will be used to populate a VLF 'Radio Sky' Map.
